IN light of Monday's tea-time address from the Prime Minister and his chief medical and science officers, Leverstock Green CC's management committee took the immediate decision to close the clubhouse doors until further notice.
As stated in our previous update by email only, Leverstock Green CC has been keen to follow and adhere to the very latest UK government advice; thus our decision based on updated information and guidelines.
As we mentioned before, we know how important the ability to meet with friends and family at the club is to many people within our local community. And while our ambition is to re-open the club as soon as possible, the health and wellbeing of all our members continues to be at the forefront of our minds.
Do you have some free time to offer your support to fellow LGCC members who might perhaps welcome some help with tasks or a chat over the phone at this time?
If so, please send an email to email@example.com with your mobile number and home address. State 'Happy to Help' in the subject line of your email.
If you're someone who could do with a helping hand or a friendly voice at the end of the phone, feel free to email the same address and we'll try to match you with a fellow member who could provide some help - however little that might amount to. State 'Help Welcomed' in the subject line of your email. Or text/call Richard on 07881 658415 to log your details.
Membership Sec. Keeley Downes recently circulated some dates she'd be at the clubhouse in order for members to tender their renewal documents and fees.
Given the clubhouse closure, Keeley is happy to receive same through the letterbox of her home address (in either cheque or cash format) to: 351a Chambersbury Lane (HP3 8LW) - a short walk down Bedmond Road from the clubhouse. Alternatively, please follow the bank transfer guidelines set out within the membership renewal forms available to download below.
New membership applications would be warmly received. If you know anyone who'd like to join, please have them complete the attached form and drop it to Keeley or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Remember to remind them that it includes a free spouse or partner membership of their choosing.
Memberships are due by the end of April, however given the financial difficulties likely to experienced, please drop Keeley a line if delaying your renewal payment would prove important in relation to your own personal circumstances.
