ONCE AGAIN, we are now taking bookings for Euro 2020 live at LGCC: this time the England semi-final v Denmark on Wednesday July 7 (8pm) at The Green.
Our Thanks For Saturday, First Of All...
Firstly, a massive thanks to Justine Rich, Sandra Malloy, Adam Thomas, Steve Wright, Jayson Pillay and Graham Evans for helping to prepare, organise and put on Saturday night for the enjoyment of many LGCC members and their friends.
Without your hard work, generosity and foresight, we would not have been able to accommodate as many people watching the game as we did.
The outdoor screens worked excellently and this arrangement will be repeated for Wednesday evening ahead (weather permitting, of course!).
Booking Note For This Time
We've lost far too many ones and twos for our indoor capacity during previous games, so please be aware that you are booking PLACES not TABLES.
We will require a lead booking name and the names of others attending with you. It is clearly hurtful to the club's bar spend to have a 'table' booked when only three people actually show up. So follow the below booking notes accordingly, please.
Outdoors
Cricketers and their friends intending to watch the game outside on Wednesday night should text Rich Walker with an idea of numbers, please, although there is no need to book if your intention is not to take up places inside the clubhouse.
Nominally, we should be looking to have a maximum of 30 people in any one group outdoors, so an idea of numbers will help us create separate distinct groups if required.
HOW TO BOOK
Please text Bar Chairman Graham Evans on 07850 749256, stating you're booking for England v Denmark on Wednesday July 7.
Please put the number of people you'd like to book for on your text AND the other names in your group. This helps us ensure all available indoor seating is filled.
Graham will reply to your text ONLY if your booking request has been successful, to confirm.
Please DO NOT post requests to social media. Such messages will not be picked up or actioned. Booking is by text only so that it's just one route in for requests.
Our capacity is 42 (seven tables of 6 people per table), plus the outdoor arrangements stated above.
