WE'D like to make you aware of a very special cricketing achievement at junior level this season.

Our Under-10 Hardball team won their Qualifying Group and then Tuesday night's Play-Off Quarter-Final to reach the prestigious Herts Junior League Finals Day, where they will play a semi-final and - should they win - a final on the same day.

So we're asking you to get along and support if you possibly can.

They will be playing at Radlett Cricket Club, off Watling Street on the Elstree side of the town. The postcode for the Cobden Hill Ground is WD7 7JL.

LGCC's semi-final is the second of the two ties to be played this Sunday morning. First up, at 9.30am, it's Harpenden v Abbots Langley. 

Then, at 11.30am, Levy take on Wheathampstead for a place in the HJL Under-10 final.

The Final itself, contested by the two semi-final victors, will take place during the afternoon - expected start around 2.00pm.

It's many years since an LGCC junior team reached a HJL Finals Day. 

We know they'd be thrilled to see plenty of familiar faces at Radlett CC to offer support as they bid for county glory.
