LEVERSTOCK GREEN CC's ever-growing junior cricket community will come together on Friday September 16 to celebrate and recognise the efforts of all players during an enjoyable summer's cricket season in 2022.

Starting around 6.15pm with the youngest Under-9 age group and then working up to the Under-15 squad, LGCC's junior coaches will describe the season as it unfolded for each respective team before handing out mementoes to all players and age-group specific awards for outstanding performance.

Also to be presented on the evening are the three overall junior awards, which capture the very best of LGCC's junior cricket talent.

They are the 'Golden Gloves Award' for the top wicketkeeping during the summer, 'The Joan Fisher Trophy' for the strongest contribution by a female player and 'The Stan Durant Colt of the Year Award' for the most impressive overall season by a junior player.

Pizzas will be delivered mid-way through the evening, for junior players to enjoy, while parents are invited to bring along some sweet treats.

Parents, relatives, friends and guests of junior players are warmly welcomed. It'll be a busy night - and rightly so, as LGCC's Junior Cricket section continues its upward trajectory!
