SATURDAY JUNE 1 - WE'VE GOT IT BOTH: Live Music & Live Football

Join us this Saturday for an evening of live music and live football: Ska & Two Tone tribute band Hope & Glory return to The Green - with their sets timed to allow screening of the UEFA Champions League Final second half.

Hope & Glory's sets will start at around 8.15pm and run until 9pm, then a 45-minute break will give for the key UCL Final action between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid to be shown.

The band will boot up again once the final's done, for a longer second set starting about 10pm.

Playing covers from the best of Madness, The Specials, The Beat, Bad Manners, Dexys and many more, it's going to be time to move to the rock-steady beat.

Hope & Glory are a vastly-experienced Ska & Two-Tone tribute band hailing from Oxfordshire, but they've loved playing for us at LGCC more than once - and so they're back again for some summer vibes.

The clubhouse bar will be open from mid-afternoon onwards with senior 1st XI cricket being played on The Green. 

Join us for the best in local live music and the UEFA Champions League Final.

That's a cracker of a Saturday night at LGCC.

Entry is free and we warmly welcome all members and their guests from the local community. You do not have to be an LGCC member to attend...but you may wish to join up when you've had a great time!


SUNDAY JUNE 2: MONTHLY QUIZ NIGHT

It's Quiz time on Sunday, starting around 7.30pm with the LGCC clubhouse open from 7.15pm.

A fun-filled and light-hearted evening of trivia teasers and general knowledge, it's £2 per person entry with the money collected split between winning teams.

Please feel free to come along with a table-full of people, or as a smaller group and perhaps join other members & guests to form a team.
