LGCC proudly presents... 'EURO 2024 LAST PLAYER STANDING' TOURNAMENT.

It's a fund-raising tournament run by LGCC folk that's open to all members, their family & friends. The more the merrier!

 IN A NUTSHELL:
+ £10 one-off entry (app or cash - details below)

+ Win half the pot if you're the "Last Player Standing" (other half of pot goes to LGCC Juniors)

+ Pick a different country to win a game at each of the 7 different tournament stages
(Group Game 1, Group Game 2, Group Game 3, Last 16, QF, SF, F)

Beware...once you've picked a country once, you cannot select them again!

Choose carefully...you don't want to get to the final only for the two finalists to be countries you've already chosen!

HOW TO ENTER:
+ Choose your first three different countries to win a game across Group Matchdays 1, 2 and 3.
- You'll need to pick a country to win in the first round of group games, then a different country for the second and different again for the third

+ To enter in-person (cash or digital payment):
Contact tournament organisers Paul Shepherd or Rich Walker in the clubhouse:
- Paul will be present evenings of Wed 5th, Fri 7th, Wed 12th & Fri 14th (start of tournament)
- Rich will be present evenings of Sat 8th, Tue 11th, Thu 13th & Fri 14th (start of tournament)
- Give them your first three choices for Group stages and payment

+ To enter via app (digital payment):
- Message Rich Walker 07881 658415 for Collctiv app payment link
- Once you've received the payment link requesting £10, send your entry fee and add a message to include:
Your name; Your three different countries; Your mobile number
Example message to read:  Paul Shepherd 1 DENMARK 2 BELGIUM 3 SPAIN 07949 577461

Entry Limit: one per person maximum. An adult name must accompany any entry from entrants aged under 18.

Entry Deadline: Friday June 14 before the tournament opener Germany v Scotland kicks off!

Paul & Rich will combine all entries onto paper & digital records, and they'll also be displayed on the special window vinyl nearest the darts board inside the LGCC clubhouse.

HOW IT'LL WORK ONCE STARTED:
+ Once group games are done, we'll re-contact those still in for their new country choice in the Round of Last 16
+ Choices for L16 Round to be made on either Thu Jun 28 or Fri Jun 29
+ And so on ahead of future rounds toward the Final
+ So if you win the Tournament, you'll have selected SEVEN different countries
+ In the case of multiple players reaching the Final, a tie-breaker system will be invoked


We'd love as many people to get involved as possible, and forgive us in advance for asking you if you've entered over the next 10 days or so!

And we'll of course be showing all the best of the action from the Euro 2024 tournament on the clubhouse's giant screens.
