IN what is unprecedented news for LGCC, we are thrilled to confirm the official announcements that mean professional cricket awaits both Troy Henry and Becky Tyson for this summer ahead.

Both are bowling (left-arm orthodox spin) all-rounders and will now take their shot at making a career in the game.

Becky's two-year contract with Hampshire CCC Women was made public a few months ago - and here she is in a first official photocall for the side based in Southampton.

Meanwhile, Hove awaits for former LGCC 1st XI captain Troy, who joins Sussex CCC on a 'rookie' one-year contract - having been picked out as a promising talent at recent open trials held by the county. 

With training supported by the ACE programme during the winter, Troy will also link up with Middlesex Premier League club Hornsey CC in between Sussex duties.

In true Levy style, we're already planning a couple of summer 'Funbus' outings to the south coast, to support both our LGCC vaunted alumni.
