LEVERSTOCK GREEN'S T20 XI travel to Northchurch this Wednesday (August 5) for a single-game shootout with the winners set to be crowned Dacorum Super League (DSL) champions for 2026.
With LGCC having won the first three of their four Phase 2 group games, Northchurch's two wins with a game to play (the night before this one) mean that it's coming down to a single game for the league championship.
Now Green is calling on its loyal band of supporters - drawn from players and non-playing members - to head for The Meadow on Wednesday and get behind the Levy boys. NCC's clubhouse & bar will be open, with a pizza van also on site.
Formed by Church's Mark Hobley - LGCC's long-serving former groundsman - last year to give local clubs more T20 fixtures during the summer, the DSL has proved very popular with players and supporters alike.
This year's ten-team field were initially split into two groups of five for Phase 1. The top two from each group and best-placed third team went forward to Phase 2's top tier to compete for a title initially won by Tring Park CC in summer 2025.
See you Wednesday at Northchurch CC - just north of Berkhamsted town centre on the road to Tring. HP4 3SF.
+ Levy also have a DSL Cup Finals Day to look forward to, on Bank Holiday Monday August 31 at Kings Langley CC, but more of that after Wednesday's winner-takes-all match.
