BUSHEY beat Leverstock Green 'B' by four wickets with four balls to spare of a closely-fought Watford Observer Fourteen14 Shield at Met Police tonight.

It wasn't to be for the reinstated 'B' team, who posted a slightly light 118 for 8 from their 14 eight-ball overs.

Despite the best efforts of paceman Majid Khan, who took a remarkable 5-28 from his four overs, Bushey got home during the game's final over.

Earlier, skipper Ben Parkes opened up for Green and hit a steady 31, with supporting cameos from Khan, Keith Glasscoe (20) and Mark Landau (21).
