WITH just a little help from all its members, Leverstock Green Cricket Club could boast a brand new pavilion extension - with work set to start as soon as before the turn of the year.

This pivotal moment in the history of the club we all love means that this weekend - Fri Sep 6, Sat Sep 7 and Sun Sep 8 - is the perfect time to see the exciting plans, understand how the club's development committee already has hundreds of thousands of pounds earmarked for the project and, crucially, to learn about how each and every LGCC member can play their small part in a historical time at The Green.

Presentation sessions are scheduled for 7.30pm this Friday evening, before the Senior Cricket Awards on Saturday evening and lastly before the Junior Cricket Awards on Sunday afternoon.

These three slots, it is hoped, will give all members - regardless of age, gender, status or postcode - a chance to see for themselves just how much improved things could look come 2014.
