IT'S the week of the year at Leverstock Green CC - and it's well underway now.

After two scorchingly hot days to help accompany the start of Cricket Week, officially commissioned by England wicketkeeper Sarah Taylor, there are still three more glorious days of action to look forward to.

Wins for the President's XI and The Old Contemptibles over LGCC sides hasn't dampened the good spirits on show during the evenings, when club members have already enjoyed the 'Beat Brian - Eggheads Style' quiz and last night's Sing-a-long-a-Levy, led by the vocal talents of Matt Rance and Neil Taverner.

All LGCC members are welcome to the clubhouse at any time during the week. The bar will open at noon at the latest every day and is open until late each night, with plenty of fun & games scheduled for your evening's entertainment.
