HAVING enjoyed some fast-paced indoor action at Choice Cricket Centre, Redbourn, during rained-off early season weeks, Leverstock Green have now entered the venue's Indoor League for the coming winter.

Green will take their place in the eight-team Men's League Division Two - with opponents including Herts League Division Two rivals Wheathampstead.

The fixture schedule commences around mid-September with the majority of matches played on a Wednesday evening, the others likely to fall on a Monday night.

Many LGCC players who got a taste of indoor action expressed an interest in being part of an Indoor League squad. The intention is to spread the chance to play right across the playing membership.

Further communication on this will follow shortly, giving players a chance to put their name into the winter squad.
