Match report A superb batting display saved the day from a less than impressive day in the field.

Having lost the toss Green made early in roads and at 11-2 hopes were high for getting the job done early, however 6 dropped catches, all off the impressive bowling of Immy aided the hosts final score of 205-6. Although a batman friendly wicket and under 4 runs an over the total should easily have been 50-60 less.

In reply new opening pair Borat & KJ laid the foundations with a good opening stand before an explosive 56 from Kingly kept us up with the required rate. The innings was held together by Crafty with a superb 44 (including a huge 6 over cover!!) although tight bowling was forcing the rate up. Needing 30 from 3 overs a draw seemed the only result especially when Crafty fell with 10 needed from the final 5 balls. In strode stand in skipper Murf to smash 10 from 3 balls including successive boundaries to seal an unlikely win that keeps Levy in the Championship/Promotion race
