SOL TOMLINSON'S unforgiving 115 helped fire Leverstock Green into the Readers Herts County Trophy quarter-finals at the expense of Redbourn.
His ton - allied to 35 not out from Nick Merrett during a fourth-wicket stand of 141 - made short work of the host's under-par target of 201-8 from their alloted 50 overs.
On a scorching hot afternoon on Redbourn common, Green skipper Dayle Littlejohn made up for losing the toss with the best bowling figures of 4-47 from his 60 balls. Lewis Koch offered the best economy of the others, conceding just 30 runs from his full allotment of overs.
Levy now have their sights fixed on a last-eight trip to Old Elizabethans, in a competition they won in never-to-be-forgotten fashion back in 2015.
The full Readers Herts County Trophy Quarter-Final draw is as follows:
Kings Langley v Bushey or Broxbourne
Hemel Hempstead Town v Parkfield & Headstone or Shenley Village
Old Elizabethans v Leverstock Green
Abbots Langley v Knebworth Park
Ties are to be played on Sunday July 16.
