LEVERSTOCK GREEN CC beat Abbots Langley CC by an emphatic six-wicket margin to lift the Heath Park T20 Cup for the second time since its 2013 inception.

Sol Tomlinson's belligerent knock of 66 as Levy chased Abbots' 115-7 ensured the run chase was always well in hand and, despite the clatter of late wickets, Green eased home early during the game's final over.

Earlier, Adam Thomas and Troy Henry were the pick of the LGCC bowlers, each going for around 20 runs from their five overs as ALCC were pegged back in posting a total at less than a run-a-ball.

But Tomlinson's knock, augmented by an unbeaten 34 from Charlie Mahanama, meant that Levy beat Abbots after the reverse result had occurred off the final's last delivery back in 2013.
