CONGRATULATIONS to coach Daniel Lake and his LGCC Under-10s squad for finishing second to St. Albans in the 32-strong Herts Junior competition.

Levy had to negotiate a semi-final against Letchworth Garden City to ensure themselves runners-up spot during the Under-10 finals day at Hitchin CC, which saw Saints beat Chorleywood in the other last-four tie.

Levy posted a mammoth near-300 target which Letchworth never truly looked like threatening.

The boys found St. Albans a different proposition in the final, with the host's tight bowling a particularly key feature of their game.

Many congratulations to the Green's junior set-up for this prestigious achievement.
